Check out some talented people we've met along the way!
Thanks to Molotov Cuisine's talented chef Fiona, PieceMeal has over 100 in-season recipes to help guide your seasonal eating. Check out their catering and pop up events and say hi at the market!
You can't ask for more from photography by Christian Webber, having worked with PieceMeal on events like Let's Talk Food, and helped PieceMeal frame our delicious dishes beautifully, Christian is a cherished member of our artistic community. Check out his handmade wooden spoons too!
A dynamic sister partnership, Erin and Elizabeth designed this new website to cleanly display what we do best! Their method of building a site for function and accessibility really shows their passion for inclusivity and talent for clean design.
Interested in food security? Our friends at the Kings County Community Food Council are passionate about making sure people in the Annapolis Valley are well fed through advocacy, education, and network building.
Farm Cafe is set near what is called a "Food Desert" A place where culturally appropriate and nutritious food becomes less accessible because of location, cost, and availability. Sarah MacDonald has built the Farm Cafe to serve the needs of the Annapolis Valley NSCC campus and the community beyond. Offering meaningful work to underemployed people, the cafe serves delicious lunches and hosts events including a Farm Market and Community Supper.
